About the Author
Born in Portugal, Ruth Shidlo has also lived in Spain, Israel, and the United States. She practices as a trauma therapist and psychologist in Tel Aviv, has published essays in various journals, and recently edited a ground-breaking book by Ronnie Solan, The Enigma of Childhood. The Profound Impact of the First Years of Life on Adults as Couples and Parents. (Karnac, 2015).
Ruth enjoys writing fiction. The Rosebush Murders is her debut novel, introducing Detective Inspector Helen Mirkin, a quirky, music-loving sleuth. Its sequel, Murder in the Choir, is currently in press.
